This is our most popular *wholesale* coffee, with a lot of work gone into perfecting this blend, given the needs of a busy coffee shop, wanting to combine great tasting beans with efficiency in the dialling in process. What this means is that it is pretty perfect for the home brewer like you. Easy to work with, offering a delightful acidity black, and a cocoa and nutty feel to the drink when paired with milk. Salford Roasters’ Signature Blend is a crowd favourite – this coffee combines our two Nicaraguan offerings, Brazilian and El Salvador beans from the Roastery, and produces an omni-roast which is velvety and nutty coffee, with notes of white chocolate, almond, molasses – with a syrupy cherry like acidity as above, black – particularly on espresso. Adding Algrano’s Nicaragua Finca San Antonio to the recipe gave it real sweetness, and the blend has won Great Taste twice: one star in 2022 and two stars in 2025.
Try this one if you are new to speciality coffee, or you like a coffee with versatility, as it is equally good with milk and milk alternatives, or 'as it is'.
Signature Blend questions
Is the Signature Blend good for espresso?
Yes. It's an omni-roast built with busy cafés in mind, so it pulls a sweet, nutty espresso and holds up well in milk.
Can I use it in a cafetière or V60?
Yes. Choose the matching grind at checkout, or buy whole bean and grind it yourself.
What sizes does it come in?
240g, 500g, 1kg and 2kg. The 1kg and 2kg bags are the best value for daily drinkers.
Does it taste good black?
Yes. Black, you get the white chocolate and almond up front with a cherry-like brightness at the end.

Delivery Times
Once you've placed your order, you'll receive a confirmation email when it's being processed and another when it's been dispatched.
Orders placed before 1pm, Monday to Friday will be dispatched the same working day. We ship all orders with DHL Next Working Day Delivery as standard. Your delivery will be fully tracked, with a one-hour delivery window and real-time updates to keep you informed.
