This stunning (newest) Nicaraguan Coffee (cupped at 88-90) from Algrano has won a Great Taste 2 star award putting it in the top 5% of coffees in the UK! We have found the perfect medium roast profile, giving you everything you want from a Nicaraguan coffee - this coffee is clean, sweet and robust. As well as the direct trade with the farm element, what we loved about this coffee is its versatility. Strong bodied and full of toffee and pecan on espresso, it gives green apple (even cider?!) and mellow citrusy notes on filter. Smooth and ‘toffee-apple’ like, we think this one is another fabulous find and a great addition to the range here…
